KOIL (1290 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station based in Omaha, Nebraska. Owned by NRG Media, which is based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the station features a Talk radio format. Throughout the weekdays, listeners can tune in to popular nationally syndicated talk shows, including those hosted by Don Imus, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Jim Bohannon, Clyde Lewis, and Jerry Doyle. Additionally, KOIL broadcasts games from the Omaha Lancers, a junior ice hockey team. The station's studios are situated on Dodge Street at 50th Avenue in Midtown Omaha, while its transmitter is located in Bellevue, Nebraska. KOIL operates continuously at a power of 5000 watts, but at night it employs a directional antenna to avoid interference with other stations on the same frequency.
