KORAN JAKARTA is a widely recognized daily newspaper that was launched on April 28, 2008, with its inauguration officiated by the Minister of Communication and Information at The Sultan. This publication is produced by PT Nusantara News, an independent press organization based in Jakarta. While Jakarta is known as the capital and economic hub of Indonesia, the newspaper's reporting covers a much broader area beyond just the city. As a national daily, KORAN JAKARTA is distributed in nine major cities across Indonesia, including Jakarta, Batam, Medan, Palembang, Lampung, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya, with a daily circulation of 50,000 copies. The newspaper is available at thousands of sales locations such as agents, retailers, and media kiosks. Additionally, KORAN JAKARTA can be found in prominent hotels, on airlines as in-flight reading material, in cafes and restaurants, and at numerous other reading spots. Notably, KORAN JAKARTA is the first newspaper in Indonesia to utilize vending machines for distribution, offering a platform-independent sales method.
