KRBE-FM (Houston, TX)

KRBE (104.1 FM) is a popular Top 40 (CHR) radio station situated in Houston, Texas, USA. Its studios are found in Suite 700 of the Chase building, located at 9801 Westheimer Road in the Westchase District of western Houston. The transmitter is based in Missouri City. Although the station's studios were previously on Kirby Drive, leading locals to sometimes call it "Kirby," the call letters actually come from the initials of its original owners, Roland and Edith Baker. The move to the Kirby Drive location occurred more than ten years after the station first went on air. KRBE is currently owned and operated by Cumulus Media.
