Though it may not be as popular since the pandemic, virtual weddings are still a thing and easy in Utah. Utah County really dove headfirst into technology during the pandemic and legalized virtual marriages in 2020. Basically, you just needed to fill out some paperwork, make sure you have an officiant and witnesses, and you could be married online. Sounds pretty easy, right? Though I know most people still prefer to have an in-person wedding with friends and family, this is an option.

People who visit Southern Utah are usually outdoors enthusiasts which means camping is a huge thing here. However, some of us prefer glamping where facilities are a little more “indoor like” while still getting the views.

Spring in Utah has brought out a lot of creatures, specifically an abundance of lizards. If you were anything like me as a kid, catching lizards was a full-time hobby and I had a deep love for horny toads. Their real name is Greater short-horned lizard. As a kid (in Arizona), I always tried to keep a few as pets. I even had a special lizard-friendly container where I shoved a few of them once caught.

In a new study by the Department of Health, they say the actual costs of rearing a child is closer to $300,000. That's a 25-percent jump from 2023's projections. One of the biggest factors is the cost of daycare or child care.

Tariffs have been all over the news since January with President Donald Trump’s initiative and now more foods are expected to get a price raise. Utahns have already felt the rising prices in products like eggs with the Bird Flu making the product difficult to produce. As a staple food, it's definitely been a bummer at Utah grocery stores. Well now less obvious foods impacted by Trump’s tariffs will be rising in cost.
