KTDT 99.1 FM

Downtown Radio 99.1 FM is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that runs a Low-Power FM (LPFM) station right in the center of Tucson. Our music selection focuses on college, indie, and underground rock. While we do feature tracks from well-known artists, we steer clear of their mainstream hits. For instance, we might play a lesser-known song by Pink Floyd or Radiohead, but not their chart-topping anthems. Our goal is to provide a refreshing listening experience, avoiding the overplayed classic rock tunes or Top 40 tracks that might prompt listeners to switch the station. We also refrain from airing current chart hits or music from highly commercialized artists.
