KUFX-FM (San Jose, CA)

KUFX (98.5 FM) is a classic rock radio station based in San Jose, California. The station’s studios are situated in the SoMa area of San Francisco, while its transmitter is positioned on Blackberry Hill above Los Gatos. Owned by Bonneville International, KUFX was previously managed by Entercom. Following its merger with CBS Radio, Entercom had to sell four of its San Francisco radio stations to comply with ownership regulations. As a result, KUFX was put into a trust, and Bonneville took over its operations under a local marketing agreement, ultimately acquiring the station in 2018.
