KWXY-AM (Palm Springs, CA)

KWXY is a Class C commercial AM radio station located in Cathedral City, California, USA. Established in 1964, it originally operated on the 1340 AM frequency and also broadcasted on 98.5 MHz FM from 1976 until 2010. Known as one of the region's "heritage" stations, it stands out as one of the few remaining beautiful music stations in the nation. On February 2, 2010, KWXY reverted to its initial frequency of 1340 AM and, in June 2014, expanded its reach by launching a translator station at 107.3 FM.
