L.A. Family Travel

Rina Baraz Nehdar is the Founder and Editor of L.A. Family Travel, as well as a mom to two energetic boys. Her goal is to introduce them to different cultures beyond their everyday experiences and to promote harmony among them. Rina's writing has received recognition in various formats, including print, television, and radio journalism. Prior to becoming a mom, she worked as a news reporter and anchor on TV and radio. After her children arrived, she transitioned to print journalism, often squeezing in writing during nap times and when household chores were left undone. Since then, she has become a regular contributor to numerous publications focusing on Family Travel and Luxury Travel for Business (see links below). With a wealth of ideas, Rina launched and now manages this online family travel magazine. Its mission is to assist families in navigating the difficulties of traveling with kids and to provide exciting family vacation ideas through engaging stories filled with valuable insights. Rina collaborates with writers from across the nation to broaden the range of destinations featured, aiming to connect with real families who may not be ready to abandon their routines entirely but are seeking enjoyable trips with their children, friends, or partners.

(This article may or may not contain affiliate links. What does that mean?)As a new mom, I’ll admit the idea of planning a trip with my daughter felt overwhelming at first. (This article may or may not contain affiliate links. What does that mean?)There are so many great things to do in the state of Michigan with kids. I should know; I live here with my own kids. And the truth of the matter is, there are so many wonderful things to do that it is next to impossible to do them all while your kids are still, well, kids.

(This article may or may not contain affiliate links. What does that mean?)A trip to a Midwest theme park is a rite of passage for any family with kids who love roller coasters, water slides, or eating funnel cake for lunch. After enough summers spent chasing three energetic boys across wave pools and standing in long lines for roller coasters that last two minutes, this list of the best amusement parks in the Midwest practically wrote itself.
