Language Magazine
Established in 1997, Language Magazine, originally known as the American Language Review, has become a well-known publication focused on language, education, and communication. In response to reader demand, the magazine expanded its frequency from six issues to twelve per year in 2001. This change aimed to keep its audience, which includes department heads, supervisors, government officials, and other key decision-makers, informed about the latest trends in language and literacy education. The magazine frequently features contributions from prominent figures like Stephen Krashen, Aned Y. Muñiz Gracia, and Eugene E. García, who are recognized experts in linguistics and language teaching. With a monthly circulation of 36,000, it primarily serves Teachers of Foreign Languages (TOFL), Teachers of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), and English as a Second Language (ESL) educators, along with educational administrators and university language departments. Additionally, the California Language Teachers Association utilizes it as a substitute for their monthly publication. Richard Lederer is also a regular contributor to the magazine.

The finding, based on experiments with two-year-olds, suggests that even very young kids are capable of absorbing grammatical cues from language and leveraging that information to acquire new words.
