Legit Reviews was established in the summer of 2002 by Nathan Kirsch with the aim of providing computer users globally with insights into the current landscape of the computer industry and a glimpse into future trends. After organizing a successful series of LAN parties at Truman State University and co-founding the university's TSU Counter-Strike League (which later became the Computer Gaming Association), Nathan noticed that many gamers were not fully informed about which computer hardware was ideal for gaming. He also realized that numerous online reviews were often biased. Given his close relationships with companies that design and manufacture gaming products, many of which sponsored the LAN events, he decided to start conducting independent product reviews. By early 2009, the website attracted over 500,000 monthly visitors seeking honest and unbiased product evaluations. Additionally, Legit Reviews has gained a reputation for its respectful and constructive forums, which sets it apart from other platforms.
