Liberté

Liberté is a French-language newspaper based in Algeria, with its main office located in El Achour, Algiers. This privately-owned publication maintains an independent viewpoint in its political reporting. In August 2003, Liberté briefly stopped its publication because of financial obligations to government-operated printing facilities, but it was able to resume shortly after.
