Local Profile
Originally known as Plano Profile, our community magazine was established in 1983. When my wife and I took over Plano Profile in August 2015, we became dedicated to providing content that is both impactful and locally relevant. We have spent considerable time reflecting on what it truly means to be part of this community, realizing that it encompasses much more than just one remarkable city. In 2019, we transitioned from Plano Profile to Local Profile. This change not only marks a new name but also highlights our belief that communities extend beyond city lines. This idea has always been part of our vision. We understand that residents of Plano are interested in the vibrant happenings in Frisco and that life continues beyond municipal borders. Living in Collin County means enjoying the diverse offerings of every city within the metroplex. Ultimately, we are a magazine for Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Allen, Prosper, and beyond. We are Local Profile, dedicated to serving the entire Collin County community.
