'Gran Turismo' opening takes 'Barbie' off the street at the box office

AUSTIN (KXAN) — A multi-part black education series kicked off in Austin over the weekend, in which leaders explored ways to make education more equitable in central Texas. The Black Leaders Collective (BLC) is leading efforts in a three-part State of Black Education series. “BLC recognizes that those closest to the problem are best equipped to identify and solve their own problems,” said BLC Founder Terry P. Mitchell.

Dancing zombies taking center stage are nothing new for the FT92 fan event. Fiesta Texas hosted the annual event to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the park’s opening in 1992. “Each year more and more of our guests come to get their first taste of what we do,” said Jeffrey Siebert, President of Fiesta Texas Park.

McConaughey recently joined Kelly Ripa on her Let’s Talk Off Camera podcast, describing his experience aboard Lufthansa Flight 469, which flew to Frankfurt, Germany on March 3. His wife, Camila Alves McConaughey, was also on the plane, but their children were not. The McConaugheys were among the 172 passengers on the plane.
