Posting rounds of 71-69–140 (-4) at the par-72, 7,000-yard Union course, mid-amateur golfer Fitzsimmons finished four strokes ahead of runner-up Nathaniel Gray Lamont of Guelph.

Kellett, who last year qualified for the RBC Canadian Open, was one of four golfers advancing for an opportunity to join the U.S. Open field at Oakmont Country Club June 12-15. He posted an even-par 70 at the 7,029-yard Cutten Fields course in Guelph. Also qualifying are Maxwell Sear of Stouffville, Ont.
