Two people were found dead in their Northern California home after neighbors reported they hadn’t been seen in several days, prompting a welfare check, according to a Saturday news release from the Cloverdale Police Department. Officers arrived at a residence near the intersection of Riesling and Syrah Court in Cloverdale on April 12 and discovered the bodies of a man and a woman. While the investigation remains ongoing, preliminary evidence suggests a possible murder-suicide.

A routine traffic stop in Lake County led to the seizure of four pounds of methamphetamine and the arrest of a Clearlake Oaks man, according to a press release from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. On April 6, a sheriff’s deputy pulled over a vehicle in the Hidden Valley area after the driver made an abrupt turn without signaling, nearly causing an accident, officials said. The driver, identified as Nino Davis, 49, of Clearlake Oaks, was found outside his vehicle, kneeling and glancing around.
