Michigan Chronicle

The Michigan Chronicle is a weekly publication located in Detroit, Michigan, catering to the African-American community. It was established in 1936 by John H. Sengstacke, who also owned the Chicago Defender. Along with the Defender and a few other African-American newspapers, it is part of Real Times Inc., a Detroit-based company. The newspaper operates from the Real Times offices in Midtown Detroit.
