    The co-founder of the acclaimed Talawa Theatre Company, actress Carmen Munroe, and the former president of the Society of London Theatre, producer Eleanor Lloyd, are among those celebrating their inclusion in the third New Year Honours list of King Charles III’s reign. Munroe was made a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) for services to drama while Lloyd received an Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to theatre.

    Steps star Lee Latchford-Evans is the latest addition to the cast for the second leg of the UK touring production of the award-winning musical & Juliet. The pop singer turned musical theatre artist whose credits include playing Teen Angel in Grease in the West End will alternate the role of Lance with TV medic and former Strictly contestant Dr Ranj Singh.

    Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award-winner Billy Porter and double Olivier Award-nominee Marisha Wallace will join the cast of the multi award-winning West End production of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club in January. From 28 January 2025, Porter (Kinky Boots/Miss Saigon/Five Guys Named Moe, Broadway) will step into the role of The Emcee with Wallace (Guys & Dolls, Bridge Theatre, Oklahoma!, Young Vic) taking over as Sally Bowles. The pair will remain in the roles until 24 May 2025.
