NABJ Chicago
The National Association of Black Journalists Chicago chapter aims to unite African-American journalists in the Chicago area who are committed to honesty and excellence in journalism, as well as fairness in the media sector. To achieve this goal, the organization focuses on several key initiatives: fostering connections between Black professionals in mainstream media and those in Black-owned media; helping Black journalists enhance their skills for career advancement into leadership roles; inspiring students to pursue careers in journalism; and providing scholarships to Black students studying journalism at accredited colleges and universities.
