Why I Hate Ole Miss

It’s the summer time and I am pretty pissed about the lackluster sports year the Razorbacks had in 2023-2024. So I have decided to take out my anger on all the other SEC teams that had more success than my favorite team. I will be going through all the teams I hate for various reasons as an Arkansas fan over the next few weeks. First up is the Ole Miss Rebels. Why do I hate the Ole Miss Rebels?

The Arkansas Razorbacks have landed the commitment of BYU transfer Kuhio Aloy, the younger brother of Razorback shortstop Wehiwa Aloy. During his lone season with the Cougars, Aloy earned a spot on the Big 12’s All-Freshman Team after hitting .269 with 8 home runs and a team-leading 38 RBI while starting 50 of the 52 games he played. Aloy spent the majority of his time starting in the designated hitter spot, but he made appearances at third base, posting a .946 fielding percentage.

Arkansas basketball has added a late-December game to its 2024-25 non-conference schedule, according to a report. College basketball scheduling reporter Rocco Miller posted to X on Wednesday that the Razorbacks in Year 1 under head coach John Calipari will host Oakland on Dec. 30 in Fayetteville. A game time has not yet been determined. Arkansas is 2-0 all-time against Oakland, which is a member of the Horizon League and located in Michigan.

FAYETTEVILLE — Trevon Brazile will return to Arkansas for a third season, the program announced Tuesday in a post to its X account. The 6-10 forward in early April announced he was entering the 2024 NBA Draft then entered the NCAA transfer portal on May 1. He took part in the NBA Draft Combine in Chicago in mid-May before withdrawing from the draft two days before the May 29 deadline.
