Nordic Music Review

Founded in 2014, Nordic Music Review began after an unforgettable concert featuring Norwegian artist Moddi at the Castle Hotel in Manchester. After the show, he engaged us in conversation for a long time, leading us to forget about our parking and end up with a ticket. This experience opened our eyes to the vast number of Nordic musicians and bands that weren’t receiving enough attention in the UK, and we felt inspired to help change that. Almost six years later, while the world may seem a bit gloomier, we continue to support indie musicians who often fly under the radar of larger publications. Our original mission has evolved slightly; while we still prioritize album reviews, we now also cover many single releases. This shift allows us to showcase a broader range of talented artists.
