Notes on the Crises
Notes on the Crises provides detailed coverage of the ongoing global depression caused by the pandemic, focusing on how policymakers should act and evaluating their current actions. Expect to see several articles published each week. We will also feature occasional contributions from paid guest writers, and all articles will be carefully edited by a part-time professional editor. As our subscription base grows, we will be able to produce even more content for our readers.

Hello Readers, I have taken the last few days to rest after an intense 80 hour work week last week, having written four pieces totaling 16,000 words. I also felt that that run of pieces have sufficiently prepared readers for events this week that I didn’t need to rush out a follow up piece about the dollar. However, I thought it would be a good prelude to what I want to say to share- for the first time- the written version of a talk I gave at the University of Manchester nearly seven years ago.

For those just tuning in: I wrote a piece a day for the first three days of this week on what we should probably now term the “Trump Tariff Financial Crisis”. I am coming to you Sunday because, yes, I am a human and took much of the rest of the week off.

READERS NOTE: I'm not going to cover this piece asking for Subscriptions. If you get the importance of this moment, you'll get the importance of what I've done this week, and the past two months or so. I'm making big moves you'll hear about soon. I don't need money for me, I need money to expand my operations. So take a subscription, and if you're rich take out a bigger subscription.

Hello readers, apologies for my extended absence. It has been a little more than three weeks since my last piece, simultaneously published by Notes On The Crises and Rolling Stone, assessing the extremely alarming implications of the Federal Government taking 80.5 million dollars right out of New York City’s bank account. This temporary hiatus came out of a large set of background organizational and investigative reasons.
