NOVA Entertainment is rapidly emerging as Australia's leading entertainment company, with diverse interests in the media sector. The company is entirely owned by Illyria Nominees Television, which is a private investment firm associated with Lachlan Murdoch. Our journey began in 2000 when we acquired our first FM license, leading to the establishment of Nova 96.9 in Sydney. This marked the beginning of the Nova radio network, which expanded to include stations in major cities across Australia: Nova 100 in Melbourne, Nova 106.9 in Brisbane, Nova 919 in Adelaide, and Nova 93.7 in Perth. Today, it stands as the top metro radio network in the nation. In May 2012, we introduced smoothfm, a contemporary easy listening FM network, in both Sydney and Melbourne, the two largest cities in Australia. This initiative has proven to be a remarkable success.
