The News-Press & Gazette Co., commonly known as NPG, has its origins in St. Joseph, Missouri, where it began with the launch of the first Gazette in 1845 during the Wild West era. Currently based in St. Joseph, the company has been a family-run business since the 1950s, now led by the fourth generation of the Bradley family.
