I did. Over the years I’ve received many, some of which had random balances like $13.63. The problem with cards like that is that you can’t find anything that is the exact same price to purchase and they end up sitting around forever. I recently discovered a pretty cool life hack that I’m going to share with you today. I had about 5 of those gift cards with the random amounts on them.

So I’ve been back in BJJ at Ronin Athletics for over a month now. Specifically, I’m in the sports jujitsu program called Master Cycle. Here, we actually roll, and it feels more like a “traditional” BJJ school as opposed to the Gracie Combatives program, which is geared more towards street and self-defense with no live rolling. Whatever the emotion, a book has to evoke something deep and primal for me. “Dust” accomplished this right from the start. The emotion it evoked? Hatred.

Teaching Zumba makes me happy. Even when I walk in feeling sad, it always lifts my spirit. It’s therapy for me. I used to teach other formats too, but I gave up most of my other classes. I only kept two of my Zumba classes. One at each gym that I love to teach. One of them was my first ever Zumba class that I started up with a brand new gym. The other one is my local gym where I have regularly trained for decades.
