Orbis Journal

Orbis Journal

Orbis is a scholarly journal that focuses on international relations and U.S. foreign policy, published every three months. It is released by Elsevier in collaboration with the Foreign Policy Research Institute. The journal was founded by Robert Strausz-Hupé, who wanted to create an alternative to the Council on Foreign Relations' Foreign Affairs, where he had never been able to publish. Strausz-Hupé served as the editor from its inaugural issue in 1957 until 1969, when William R. Kintner took over the editorial responsibilities.
