Trouble Gameplay Trouble is a board game in which players race to have their four game pieces circle the board before everyone else’s. As each player moves their pieces around the board, they also have the opportunity to sabotage other players—any piece is fair game until it’s into one of the “safe” spaces. The game can be played by as little as two players and as many as four players: there’s four colors that each take up a quarter of the board: red, yellow, green, and blue.

Scrabble Gameplay Scrabble is a word game! Using small wooden tiles that each bear a letter, players arrange their tiles on a gameboard to make words. Words can be arranged horizontally from left to right, or vertically from top to bottom, in crossword fashion. Each letter is worth a certain number of points, and there are “premium” squares on the gameboard that increase point value. The object of the game is to score the most points.

Gameplay Cascadia is a world-building game, or more specifically, a Pacific Northwest (otherwise known as Cascadia) environment-building game. With prairies, wetlands, rivers, forests, and mountains, plus bears, elk, salmon, hawks, and foxes, each player builds their own landscape to score points. The game comes with a lot of pieces, and while it might take a few minutes to read and understand the instructions, gameplay is fairly simple and the game itself is visually stunning.
