One of Nedlands’ historic Inter-War buildings has hit the market, with offers for Portland Flats closing next week. Situated on the corner of Stirling Highway and Portland Street, the flats were built in 1940, and designed by prolific Perth-based architect Harold Krantz. Originally born in Adelaide, Krantz moved to Perth in 1927, joining his uncle Harold Boas’ architectural firm Oldham, Boas and Ednie-Brown.
