NPTA introduces Honey Bee Code of Practice

NPTA has launched its Code of Practice: Honey Bees, which is now available on its website. Mark Wenman, NPTA technical manager and board member, highlighted that honey bees are not classified as pests. “In fact, they are among the most beneficial insects in our ecosystem, playing a vital role in pollination and biodiversity,” Mr Wenman said.

The Nurture Training Academy runs RSPH L2 Award in Pest Management training for Nurture Pest Control staff. There are usually some spaces on these courses that Nurture offers to other pest controllers at a discounted rate. The courses are split into the three separate two-day modules, with each module held in different weeks, which allows for more effective learning. The exam for each module is held directly at the end of each two days of training.
