Pilot Magazine (UK) is a monthly publication focused on general aviation and is recognized as 'Britain's best-selling GA magazine.' Established in 1966, it was previously published by Lernhurst Publications Limited. Currently, it is part of Archant Specialist, a division of Archant Publishing, with its headquarters located in Essex. Since 2011, Philip Whiteman has been the editor. He previously held the role of deputy editor under James Gilbert, who was the editor and publisher before Archant took over the magazine. Philip is also a proud owner and operator of a Piper Cub.
