Point of View Magazine

We foster discussions about documentary films, shed light on the narratives behind their creation, and highlight the talents of those who work behind the scenes. Our goal is to offer thoughtful insights that link documentaries to current issues. POV was established in 1990 by the Documentary Organization of Canada (DOC), which focuses on advocacy and lobbying. In 2010, POV became an independent organization. Today, it operates as a distinct entity, producing a vibrant print magazine published twice a year, along with a strong and active online platform.
