Prime Progress
For many years, both local and international media have painted a bleak picture of Nigeria, often portraying our challenges as insurmountable. From emphasizing the extent of corruption to highlighting our status as a hub of extreme poverty, we are constantly inundated with negative narratives that can harm our self-esteem and trust in our nation’s systems, government, and heritage. While we acknowledge that Nigeria has significant issues to address, we at Prime Progress believe there is more to our story than just despair. The traditional media often presents an unbalanced view of Nigeria, focusing heavily on problems without showcasing the positive steps being taken to address them. Our mission is to change this narrative. We are a solutions-oriented online platform dedicated to highlighting how individuals and organizations are tackling humanitarian, economic, and social challenges in Nigeria. Every week, we provide well-researched and data-driven articles that spotlight real-world solutions to specific issues in Nigeria, demonstrating that change is possible. Our goal is to inspire hope and motivate citizens to think proactively about solutions and engage in developmental efforts.
