Qnotes
Q-Notes is a newspaper dedicated to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) community in North and South Carolina, proudly marking its 30th anniversary. Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, it is published bi-weekly and has a circulation of 11,000 print copies, making it the largest print media outlet for the LGBT community in the southeastern United States. The publication began in 1983 as a monthly newsletter for the Queen City Quordinators, an LGBT organization in Charlotte. In 1986, it transitioned to a monthly tabloid format and, in 2006, it merged with The Front Page, another LGBT newspaper from Raleigh, North Carolina.
