At PAX East 2025, there were a lot of indie games for us to check out. We saw games like Pizza Bandit, Demon Tides, Tire Boy, Fresh Tracks, and Ra Ra Boom from Gylee Games. I had the chance to play two levels of Ra Ra Boom alongside Senior Producer, Kim Edwards. The first part of the gameplay was the prologue, which essentially is a fun tutorial for the game and how the mechanics work.

Sony has released its latest financial results for the three months ending March 31, 2025. The company announced that PlayStation 5 sales reached 77.8 million units worldwide since its release in 2020. A total of 2.8 million PlayStation 5 consoles were sold during the previous three months that ended on March 31, 2025. That is surprisingly down 1.7 million from the same period of the previous fiscal year.

Square Enix had its earnings call for the most recent quarter, revealing news on some of its game projects. Earlier this morning, it was announced that Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link has been cancelled. The mobile only game was announced in October 2023 and was originally supposed to release in 2024, but received a delay. Square Enix also held a Closed Beta for Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link at one point to get feedback on the game from the community.

6/10 Summary City Bus Manager is a surprisingly solid simulation with smart use of real-world data and a love for all things transit. It’s a bit light on content for the price, but if you’re a fan of buses or city management games, this might just be your stop. Just be ready to pay the express fare for a ride that maybe should’ve come with a transfer discount. So go on—hop aboard.
