Retrofit Home, a companion magazine to Retrofit, which focuses on commercial renovations and was established in 2012, was launched in Fall 2021. Its mission is to highlight distinctive renovations of both single-family and multifamily homes. The publication features a variety of transformed buildings, such as barns, factories, and churches, converted into living spaces. It explores innovative renovation techniques and surprising findings in the process, while also offering advice on the latest trends in interior and exterior design. The aim of Retrofit Home is to educate designers, contractors, and others on how to retrofit existing homes, enhancing both the properties and the communities they serve.
