Riot Games

Riot Games

Riot Games was established in 2006 with the mission to create, publish, and support games that prioritize player experience. Our first game, League of Legends, launched in 2009 and quickly gained global recognition. It has since become the most-played PC game worldwide and played a significant role in the rapid rise of esports. Now in its second decade, League continues to evolve while we introduce new games like Teamfight Tactics, Legends of Runeterra, VALORANT, and League of Legends: Wild Rift, along with several upcoming projects. Through Riot Forge, we allow other developers to use our intellectual property, resulting in games like Ruined King and other exciting adventures set in the Runeterra universe. We’re also broadening the Runeterra experience through various multimedia projects, including music, comic books, board games, and our Emmy Award-winning animated series, Arcane. The annual League of Legends World Championship showcases top esports teams from 12 different leagues around the globe. This tournament is the most watched and followed in esports and ranks among the largest and most celebrated gaming and sporting events worldwide. Riot Games was co-founded by Brandon Beck and Marc Merrill and is currently led by CEO Dylan Jadeja. Our headquarters are in Los Angeles, California, with over 4,500 employees in more than 20 offices around the world. Riot has been recognized as a Great Place to Work for three consecutive years and has appeared on several prestigious lists, including Fortune’s “100 Best Companies to Work For,” “25 Best Companies to Work in Technology,” “100 Best Workplaces for Millennials,” and “50 Best Workplaces for Flexibility.”
