Road Test Reviews
Road Test Reviews launched in 2011 as a niche website for car enthusiasts. Even though we have significantly expanded our audience, we still maintain a small and flexible approach. Our passion for everything related to cars drives us to provide road test reviews, along with news and opinions. We pride ourselves on being impartial and not easily swayed (though maybe just a bit). Our goal is to offer the car-buying community our insights based on solid facts.

The Toyota Crown is a nameplate that has been around since 1955 and in Japan, almost every taxi you see is one, however, in 1972 it was discontinued in the US. Now surprisingly it has made a comeback in quite a bold and quirky and in the case of the Hybrid MAX tester I have, sublimely quick. The 2024 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid MAX enters the 3-Row ring up against some very stiff competition in the shape of the Kia Telluride and the Hyundai Palisade, but things look quite promising after glancing at the spec sheet, and it’s obvious the Korean SUVs are in for a tough time. Hot on the heels of the 2023 Prius Hybrid, which is faster, better-appointed, and overall more fun to drive over any previous model, is the 2023 Toyota Prius Prime. Not only does it have even more power it looks just as good as the regular model which if you remember had looks only a mother could love. The old model was definitely ready for retirement with its listless acceleration (0-60 took an age-inducing 10.3 seconds) and limited electric-only range.

This is the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L and it’s a little bit more than your standard mall cruising, drop-the-kids-off-at-soccer practice SUV and it’s definitely no glorified minivan. Instead, it offers real off-road ability, go-anywhere and go-over-anything capabilities. If you’re a true adventurer at heart and are looking to explore uncharted territory, then one of these has got your name on it. What’s new for 2023Uconnect 5 NAV with 10.1-in.
