Radio Programas del Peru (RPP) is a broadcasting company based in Peru, part of the Grupo RPP. Founded in Lima in 1963 by Manuel Delgado Parker and Emilio Checa, it initially focused on entertainment through radio dramas. However, in 1978, it transitioned to a news radio format. In 1997, the network adopted the name RPP, which stands for its initials. RPP boasts the widest radio coverage in Peru, reaching 97 percent of the nation.
