Daiki Suzuki’s Engineered Garments has built a reputation of bringing an off-kilter experience to American and British workwear, providing an edge with screwed-with classics. Some may not view EG as a household name yet, but it’s one of the more sought-after brands in regards to the collaborative experience, working closely with the likes of Uniqlo, Red Wing, J. Crew, Reebok and more in the past. On May 2nd, they’ll be dropping their third project with Reebok, the Instapump Fury ’94.

One of 2025’s most important sneaker releases to date is circling the block later this year. The 1980s is such a unique period in sneaker history. The battlefield was far more level and technology and materials science was limited, which meant marketing was everything. New Balance hit one right on the nose in 1985 with the debut of a $130 “luxury” sneaker called the New Balance 1300, a shoe that the brand touted as the best running shoe they ever made. In the late 1980s, a silk road of sorts formed connecting the US to Japan.

This Nike Dunk Low would have sold out had it released five years ago, but alas, the sneaker industry looks way different in 2025 than it did in 2020. Years of oversaturation have greatly watered down demand for the Peter Moore-designed sneaker, meaning these sorts of unassuming GRs can often be found at steep markdowns. With that being said, if you’re still out buying new Nike Dunks, this “Olive/Cargo Khaki” colorway is plenty clean.
