    The boat cruises slowly down the Golden Horn. In front of us, the minarets of the city’s Ottoman mosques are bathed in rose pink. As we get closer to the city centre, the muezzins’ calls to prayer sound out from the speakers attached to each of the city’s mosques, their voices mingling as they echo across the water. Istanbul is a city unlike anywhere else. There are so many things to do in Istanbul that it can be tricky to know where to start.
