Surfers Against Sewage (SAS) is an environmental charity dedicated to safeguarding the oceans, waves, and beaches of the UK so that everyone can enjoy them safely and sustainably. They achieve this through community involvement, advocacy, volunteering, conservation efforts, education, and scientific research. SAS focuses on addressing various coastal environmental challenges, such as marine litter, sewage pollution, climate change, harmful chemicals, shipping, industrial impacts, and coastal development.
