Sveriges Radio

Sveriges Radio, or "Sweden's Radio," serves as the national radio broadcaster for Sweden and is publicly funded. It operates as a public limited company, owned by an independent foundation. Previously, its funding came from a licensing fee set by the Swedish Riksdag, but since January 1, 2019, it has shifted to being financed through regular taxes. Advertising is not allowed. Its legal framework can be characterized as a quasi-autonomous non-governmental organization.
