If Rosen is approved by the U.S. Senate, he will follow another Jewish lawyer, Andrew Luger, who served in the same position under both Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden. The U.S. attorney for Minnesota is the local prosecutor for the U.S. Department of Justice. The prominent Feeding Our Future scandal was litigated by the office.

    Before there were blogs…Before there were Zoom meetings…Before there were email chains and Facebook messengers and TikTok influencers…There were storytellers.  As a child I remember sitting around the living room with extended family and friends and telling stories. You got to hear the neighborhood gossip, the successes of others, the births and deaths, the dreams and imaginations. We were sharing the Stories from the Tribe. All in person.

    The last month or so has been a more difficult time for me. Between a heavy workload at my daytime job, several things to accomplish in a short time frame at home, difficult news domestically and internationally, I feel more and more like I’ve been drawing from my cup without making sure to refill it. Ultimately, there are only so many times I can seek internal resources and strength when I haven’t been taking care of myself before I’m going to come up empty.
