The Believer

The Believer is a distinguished bimonthly magazine that has been nominated for the National Magazine Award five times. It focuses on literature, arts, and culture and is produced by the Beverly Rogers, Carol C. Harter Black Mountain Institute at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Each edition offers a mix of journalism, essays, personal interviews, a wide-ranging comics section, poetry, and sometimes, delightful surprises. The poetry section is overseen by Jericho Brown, while Kristen Radtke curates the comics. Joshua Wolf Shenk serves as the editor-in-chief. Each issue also includes a column by Nick Hornby where he shares insights on what he has been reading, along with a humorous advice column.
