The Bentley Vanguard
Since 1963, The Vanguard has served as the official campus newspaper for the Bentley University community. This acclaimed student-run publication comes out every other Thursday, providing valuable information and insights on various issues and events that impact the Bentley community. The Vanguard consists of several departments, such as news, sports, arts and entertainment, advertising, marketing, production, business, and photography.

Between 2018 and 2025, Altındağ has secured more than $3 million in grants and competitive contract funding for research on a variety of topics, including infant mortality, the long-term effects of childhood vaccines and humanitarian aid programs for refugees. His new grant will support the study of mental health effects on spouses of Alzheimer’s patients, building upon a similar study he is currently completing that explores the psychological health of patients’ children.

According to Pouli, employers consistently walk away from the competition impressed by the capabilities of Bentley students. “Every year, I have volunteers coming up to me, saying things like, ‘These students are better at sales conversations than our current employees’ and ‘They’ve been trained so well, they could step into a job at our company tomorrow,’” he shares.

Bentley students have a long history of learning about the judicial system: The Bentley School of Accounting and Finance established a law department in the 1930s. Classes focused exclusively on business law until the 1970s, when a course in real estate law was introduced.
