The Cobbler: William Carey University

The Cobbler serves as the official newspaper for William Carey University. This publication traces its origins back to the 1920s when it was known as The Scissors, the official newspaper of Mississippi Woman's College. In the early 1950s, as the institution became William Carey College, the newspaper adopted its current name. The Cobbler carries on its long-standing tradition while looking ahead to a promising future. It releases six editions annually and actively engages with its audience on Facebook.
