The Daily Times Malawi
The Daily Times is a newspaper that comes out every day in Blantyre, Malawi. It holds the title of being the oldest newspaper in the nation, originally starting as a monthly publication called the Central African Planter in 1895. By around 1900, it switched its name to Central African Times and began publishing weekly. The name changed again to Nyasaland Times. After Malawi gained independence in 1964, it was renamed The Times and published every two weeks. In 1972, it officially became known as the Daily Times.
