The Daily Wildcat

The Arizona Daily Wildcat is a student-run publication affiliated with the University of Arizona. Established in 1899 originally as the Sage Green and Silver, it has undergone several name changes, including Arizona Weekly Life, University Life, Arizona Life, and Arizona Wildcat. The newspaper is distributed primarily within the university and throughout the Tucson, Arizona area, reaching an audience of about 20,000 readers. It is released daily during the fall and spring semesters and transitions to a weekly schedule over the summer, when it is known as the Arizona Summer Wildcat. In 2006, the Arizona Daily Wildcat earned the title of Best College Newspaper from the Princeton Review's THE BEST 361 COLLEGES.
