The Delphos Herald
We appreciate your interest in The Delphos Herald, The Community Connection, and Good Times. For more than 138 years, Delphos has upheld the tradition of keeping its residents updated on local matters. The Delphos Herald first appeared in 1869 as a weekly publication, launched by Mr. D.H. Tolan when the town's population was just 1,667. At that time, another publication known as The Delphos Courant was also in circulation. In 1894, Clair Tolan, the son of D.H. Tolan, took over The Herald and transformed it into The Delphos Daily Herald. By 1910, the Delphos Printing and Publishing Company was established, managing both The Herald and The Courant, and continued to produce both newspapers.
