The third weekend of back-to-back-to-back weekends of Major League Pickleball (MLP) is here. Pictona at Holly Hill, in Daytona Beach, Florida, is hosting MLP Daytona Beach. This is the fifth stop for the 2025 MLP season, and after MLP Daytona Beach is concluded, more than half the Premier Level matches will have taken place. The event will take place from Thursday, June 5, through Sunday, June 8.

The UPA Asia Trailblazers are some of the best up-and-coming pickleball players throughout Asia. The 11 players in the inaugural 2025 season hail from eight different Asian countries. The group has been training in Mesa, Arizona, for the past two months. They will continue to do so for one more month, before heading back to Asia. What is UPA AsiaThe formation of UPA Asia was announced on Monday, November 25, 2024. Just like in the USA, UPA Asia has both PPA Asia and MLP Asia underneath it.

In breaking news, Quang Duong has been suspended and fined by the United Pickleball Assocation (UPA) for a breach of contract. According to league sources, over the Memorial Day Weekend, Quang played in a non-UPA sanctioned pickleball event in Vietnam. He actually posted about it on his Instagram account: Upon finding out about Duong's play in an unsanctioned UPA tournament, the UPA decided to take swift measures.

Major League Pickleball (MLP) is back in the desert of Phoenix for the first time in over two years. Still thought of as one of the most iconic MLP events in history, the last time MLP was in Phoenix was in January 2023 for the first event of Season 1 of that year. The Edward Jones MLP Phoenix event is taking place at the beautiful Arizona Athletic Grounds, in east Mesa, AZ. The venue continues to be one of the best in the country for professional level pickleball events.

The third event of the 2025 Major League Pickleball (MLP) season is just days away. Unlike most MLP weekends, this event is being held Friday-Monday, instead of Thursday-Sunday. With the Memorial Day holiday this weekend, MLP thought it fitting to move the schedule accordingly. The MLP Austin event is the first stop in 2025 that involves Challenger Level teams. As a reminder, this year there are 16 Premier Level teams and 6 Challenger Level teams. The Texas Ranchers are hosting the event.
