The Englewood Review of Books

The Englewood Review of Books

Established in 2008, The Englewood Review of Books is a weekly online publication created by Englewood Christian Church, located on the Near Eastside of Indianapolis. Our mission is to provide insightful reviews of books that explore themes such as community, mission, imagination, and reconciliation. We aim to promote a vision of Reading for the Common Good—an approach to reading that prioritizes the needs of the communities we belong to, including our church, family, neighborhood, and workplace, over personal interests. While the titles we feature may not exclusively come from the “Christian market,” we believe they play an essential role in nurturing Christian faithfulness in today's increasingly Post-Christian society.
